Our local ukulele group, MUGS, turned up in full force & wowed us with all the well-remembered music of the 50s, 60s & 70s & thewonderful audience complemented the musicians with some lusty singing. There were lots of smiling faces at the end of the concert. A big ‘thank you’ to all those who gave a hand.
The programme for the 2nd semester has been finalised & will be up on our web page in the 3rd week of June so get ready to see what is on offer.
Outside excursions include: Fossil Bluff, Dark Matter at the Planetarium, A Visit to the Rhododendron Gardens & A Spring Walk in the Arboretum.
There will be the chance to bring out a family heirloom for appraisal at The Antique Roadshow.

Maybe these are courses you should enrol in.It is usual to make your selection at the beginning of the semester but, should you find there is something you want to enrol in at a later date, you can always ask if there is room for you in the course.
It’s never too late to become a member &, although your $40 covers the whole of the calendar year, there is plenty on offer in the next programme to give you your money’s worth. New members are always welcome.
