Wings Community Wildlife Hospital Open

Aug9,2024

The Community Wildlife Hospital was officially opened by Premier Jeremy Rockliff and Senator Anne Urquhart on 25th July 2024.

The hospital was jointly funded by the State and Commonwealth Governments with input from the Wing family. It took just over 18 months to build and complete the fit-out.

It was initially designed to replace the wildlife hospital that was damaged in the floods of October 2022; with the support of the Governments and the recognised need within the community, it was agreed to build a bigger and better Community Wildlife Hospital.

The Community Wildlife Hospital is just that – A Community Asset – it will be reliant on community support to grow and achieve its goals.

Our clients don’t have Pet Insurance, so we need financed support – We are looking for sponsors, big and small. To become an individual  “Friend of Wing’s Community Wildlife Hospital” for $10.00 per week, join as a group or a business and help us give our unique wildlife life a second chance they deserve.

Or become a volunteer “Friend of Wing’s Community Wildlife Hospital”– we will need carers for injured or orphaned animals– we will need drivers to collect animals and drop them at the park.

Go to Wing’s Wildlife Parks Website
www.wingswildlifepark.com.au to read more about the Wildlife Hospital. Fill out the sponsorship and/or volunteer forms, become a “Friend of Wing’s Community Wildlife Hospital” now, and jump aboard what is going to be a learning and rewarding ride for us all.
