By Tracey committee member for promotion of our sesquicentenary celebrations in 2025.
The town of Penguin is gearing up for a year-long celebration in 2025 to mark its 150th anniversary, and the community is invited to join in the festivities. This milestone is an opportunity to reflect on Penguin’s history, celebrate its unique character, and look ahead to the future.
Over the past 150 years, Penguin has grown from its early days as a timber and agricultural settlement into a vibrant community and popular tourist destination. The Penguin 150 celebrations aim to honour this rich history while showcasing what makes the town special today.
