Christmas Day Parade – We estimated between 3000-3500 attended the Christmas Day parade which was greatly supported by the community. Christmas Carols – Food and helpers ready to go, music being tuned, weather glorious, large crowd arriving what more could we ask for? The event was a huge success getting the Christmas vibes happening! Induction of two new members- At our Australia Day BBQ, and on behalf of Penguin Lions Club, Lion Dale Crawford had the pleasure of inducting two new Penguin Lion Club Members, Andrew Haines and Shai Dawkins. Libraries Tasmania launched an exciting new concept at Penguin Library on Friday 24 January. The Open Library service will see both Penguin and Devonport Library accessible to approved members from 7am until 9pm, seven days a week.
