The Silver Salties spring / summer Walk and Talk program will commence 17 October and will run up to and including 5th December.
The program will again run for 8 weeks and as per previous programs, we start at 1.30.
Please join us at the Penguin Surf Life Saving Club, Preservation Bay Drive, Preservation Bay.
During the last program we had fun with Pickleball, celebrated the Olympics, checked out a new beach walker for those with mobility issues, played trivia and heard from local members about the history of the area – thanks Ian Chalk and Craig Dunham. Graham Kent also returned with a photo presentation showing the restoration of the Julie Burgess.
Some of the activities planned for the next program include members sharing life stories, a travel presentation, a visit to a members’ rose garden and exercise for seniors.
