As part of National Science Week (NSW) activities, the University of Tasmania are thrilled to host a Mini MakerX event at the newly refurbished Makers Technology and Innovation Hub at the, Cradle Coast Campus in Burnie!
This isn’t just any gathering – MINI MAKERX is a melting pot of ideas, creativity, and hands-on fun that celebrates the unique spirit of our region.
An exciting family-friendly “Show & Tell” from people who love to CREATE, LEARN, INNOVATE and CHANGE! For one day only, we’re shining a spotlight on STEM, from the cutting-edge of digital tech and gaming to the wonders of science and sustainability. It’s all about inspiring our future innovators to step up and make their mark.
“In line with this year’s National Science Week theme, ‘Species Survival – More than just sustainability’, we’re putting our adorable local little penguins in the limelight”. Said Clarissa Forster, event coordinator at the University.
