South Riana Memorial Hall came alive on Saturday 8th June when they held a World Wide Knit In Public Day event.
Enthusiastic knitters and their friends travelled from all across the North West Coast to join together to celebrate the art of knitting and have a good old fashioned chin-wag.
A most creative fashion parade entertained those present when scarves were transformed into decorative skirts and dresses.
The largest and most unusual knitting was done using broom handles for needles.
There was much fun, laughter and sharing of tips and patterns around a delicious lunch.
It was such a huge success that many asked for it to happen again next year.
