Tasmanian parents can now freecall 1300 TAS BUB (1300 827 282) between 7.00am and 11.00pm, seven days a week – where they can receive telephone support and guidance from a specialist Tresillian child and family health nurse. Tresillian is Australia’s largest not-for-profit early parenting service offering families guidance in the early years of their child’s life. Get support around breastfeeding, nutrition and settling baby, as well as mental health issues such as post-natal depression and anxiety. A new residential centre is being established in Launceston to be opened in late 2025. This is a great step forward to help young families.
